FUN RETIREMENT IN GEORGIA

Savannah residents love music, any kind of music, as long as it’s grooving. There is no escaping the melodic sounds of Savannah. Whether it is jazz, blue grass, gospel, reggae or rhythmic drums, music is as entrenched in Savannah’s history as is the city’s arts and cultural scene and its southern cuisine. No wonder it is one of the best places to live in the south and popular among people considering retirement in Georgia.

In a two weeks, Savannah’s music scene is going to heat up, as the city gets ready to hosts two major music festivals.  The city’s top venues will be the backdrop for nearly 450 performers from around the world. Music lovers will have 17 days to get their groove on, explore the historical city of Savannah and find out why it is referred to as one of the best places to live in the south

The fun gets started on March 24th when the Savannah Music Festival kicks off.  It runs until April 9th. This festival is a benefactor of its proximity to interstates 95 and 10, which is often traveled by musicians heading to the South by Southwest Festival. Hence calling this festival the Savannah Stopover.
