Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay is a charming boating and award-winning golf neighborhood that began development in the mid-1990s upstream from Goose Creek State Park and off the Pamlico Sound.  One of the few North Carolina coastal communities with a deepwater marina, Cypress Landing’s 900 acres have approximately 640 quality, custom-built Lowcountry and traditional American brick style homes built on the 711 property sites. Winding roads lead to welcoming cul-de-sacs lined with mature trees, gorgeous landscaping and lakes accented with fountains for year-round curb appeal. The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Bay Club is a hub for activities, with a bar, outdoor patio, and event ballroom featuring a breathtaking view of the marina and Chocowinity Bay on the Pamlico River.

Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay Reviews

4.9 / 5 (818 reviews)
"Mostly, the people make us the happiest place to live. Our community HOA is run by the homeowners, not an outside mgmt firm, so we are also a community of many volunteers. It also results in our HOA dues being lower than most planned communities. We have many committees and activities that offer something for everyone, plus a great golf semi-public golf course, run by resident members, with very affordable greens fees. We have a very active tennis group that plays on Har-Tru tennis courts which are better for your knees than hard court surfaces. We have a large marina located on a bay with access to the Pamlico River and the Pamlico Sound. Being located mid-Atlantic, our climate is not too cold and not too hot. We are located just 20 miles from an outstanding medical center in Greenville, NC. For cultural venues you cannot beat East Carolina U. in Greenville. It doesn't get much better. "

"Everyone will tell you it is the people, their friendliness, how they make feel welcome, then how they care for each other. Everyone waves. Everyone says hello or hey. Cypress Landing is just comfortable, like a broken in dock shoe. We have the best of both worlds, a park like rural setting with ample top notch amenities; then ample cultural and educational, entertainment and, shopping opportunities along with quality health care within a short, 30 minute drive. Food and music festivals surround us year round. What's not to love. My wife Terre and I should have moved here years earlier."
