A New Way to Test Drive a Champion Hills Golf Membership
Of the many appealing golf communities in Western North Carolina, Champion Hills stands out for many reasons and can add yet another with a limited release of new trial golf memberships. Named by Golf Digest as one of the Top 10 Best Golf Courses in North Carolina, the Tom Fazio designed championship 18-hole course cradled in the scenic Blue Ridge Mountains delivers a great round of play and splendid surroundings – ask anyone who has teed off on Champion Hills’ Signature 9th hole, with its breathtaking 125-foot drop. And now, for a limited time, the club is welcoming the local community and offering Champion Hills memberships to non-property owners.
Trial golf memberships have a $6,000 non-refundable initation fee and dues of $846 a month. After 90 days, trial members must upgrade to a full golf member and pay the standard initiation fee of $40,000 less the $6,000 they have already paid. The trial membership comes with a 15% discount off the $40,000 initiation fee or $34,000. A trial social club membership commands a $1,200 non-refundable initation fee plus $293 in monthly dues. The full social membership after 90 days increases to the normal $8,000 initation fee. Trial memberships are ideal for folks seriously interested in owning a home in Champion Hills and who aren't sure if they want to be members of the club. The community welcomes golfers of all levels to enjoy the beautiful 6,527-yard, par-71 course for only greens and cart fees. What a great way to experience the Champion Hills community and feel the country club lifestyle in person!
These attractive, but limited, non-property owner memberships are non-equity and are slightly higher than other Hendersonville area golf course communities. For example, at nearby Kenmure, a non-resident Kenmure Country Club membership is available only to lot owners, or to those who don’t rent or own any other property within 250 miles. Kenmure golf membership costs includes a $10,000 initiation fee plus $100/month dues. Similarly, Cummings Cove offers non-resident golf memberships for a $3,000 initiation fee plus $350/month dues. When adding up Champion Hills membership costs, the refined course features, and the exquisite course views, Champion Hills is on par with the higher end golf communities in Western North Carolina.
