Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay is a charming boating and award-winning golf neighborhood that began development in the mid-1990s upstream from Goose Creek State Park and off the Pamlico Sound.  One of the few North Carolina coastal communities with a deepwater marina, Cypress Landing’s 900 acres have approximately 640 quality, custom-built Lowcountry and traditional American brick style homes built on the 711 property sites. Winding roads lead to welcoming cul-de-sacs lined with mature trees, gorgeous landscaping and lakes accented with fountains for year-round curb appeal. The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Bay Club is a hub for activities, with a bar, outdoor patio, and event ballroom featuring a breathtaking view of the marina and Chocowinity Bay on the Pamlico River.

"Our house is nestled in trees along the Chocowinity Bay. We not only have marina and yacht club options, but a 4-star rated golf course that runs through the neighborhood, and 14 HOA Committees that offer all kinds of ways for us to participate in the community and surrounding area. I've never lived in a neighborhood so dedicated to community service and charities that they received a Community Leadership Award from thier local Chamber of Commerce. Talk about "paying it forward"! We can do so much inside the neighborhood with the Fitness Center, a lap pool, a family pool, a playground for the kiddies, tennis courts & we just began Pickle Ball! We have dances and parties at our clubhouse – and we even have a neighborhood bar! If we want to travel, we are a couple hours’ drive from an International Airport or the beaches of the Outer Banks, and a few hours’ drive from snow skiing/snowboarding. If you have kids/grandkids that are attending NC colleges, we are near ECU, UNC, UNC-W, UNC-G, Duke, ASU, & NC School of the Arts. Lastly, I feel better knowing that Vidant Medical Center (part of East Carolina University’s medical school) and Heart Institute are only 25 miles away [Greenville, NC], our local hospital is only 10 minutes away and our local fire/ems station is only 3 miles from our door. If you are service oriented and want to get away from metropolitan life and corporate pressure -- I can’t say enough about Cypress Landing, we just love it! "
