Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay is a charming boating and award-winning golf neighborhood that began development in the mid-1990s upstream from Goose Creek State Park and off the Pamlico Sound.  One of the few North Carolina coastal communities with a deepwater marina, Cypress Landing’s 900 acres have approximately 640 quality, custom-built Lowcountry and traditional American brick style homes built on the 711 property sites. Winding roads lead to welcoming cul-de-sacs lined with mature trees, gorgeous landscaping and lakes accented with fountains for year-round curb appeal. The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Bay Club is a hub for activities, with a bar, outdoor patio, and event ballroom featuring a breathtaking view of the marina and Chocowinity Bay on the Pamlico River.

"It seems like all of the residents have been drawn to settle here. We have a diverse population. there are young couples with children along with middle aged working people and retirees. There are multiple activities to suit all interests. There is boating with a beautiful Marina and very active yacht club. Our golf course is beautiful and in pristine condition. The people are very friendly. We have many volunteer opportunities. We are 15 miles from a major teaching hospital and heart centre. East Carolina university is a half hour drive. I could go on but to see this community is to believe it is a great place to live."
