Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay is a charming boating and award-winning golf neighborhood that began development in the mid-1990s upstream from Goose Creek State Park and off the Pamlico Sound.  One of the few North Carolina coastal communities with a deepwater marina, Cypress Landing’s 900 acres have approximately 640 quality, custom-built Lowcountry and traditional American brick style homes built on the 711 property sites. Winding roads lead to welcoming cul-de-sacs lined with mature trees, gorgeous landscaping and lakes accented with fountains for year-round curb appeal. The 9,000 square foot Cypress Landing Bay Club is a hub for activities, with a bar, outdoor patio, and event ballroom featuring a breathtaking view of the marina and Chocowinity Bay on the Pamlico River.

Cypress Landing on Chocowinity Bay Reviews

"The people here come all parts of North America and quite a few have lived all over the world. Their back grounds and interest expand others to explore outside opportunities, from hobbies, volunteering, sports, cooking to international travel. There are three local clubs for kayaking, camping and out door activities. Plenty of places to boat, sail and fish. We've enjoyed a 5 day sail on our neighbor's boat around the Inner Banks of North Carolina. Meeting the local people, visiting their towns and enjoying their restaurants. My wife and I moved here to boat, but since we arrived we have taken up golf, and are active in our community and local charities. We have traveled with new friends in the United States and Europe. In our working lives we had many friends and travel with 12 couples. We thought we would never have friends like them again. Here we have been to Europe with 3 other couples who have lived there, from our community, and travel to Ocracoke, NC with over 50 couples from this community for their 3 day music festival. We have done several over night cruises with other boats from our community and are active in clubs and charities from around the area. The natives of North Carolina are welcoming and friendly were ever you go in this great state. Although some places are better than others, you can not go too far wrong picking North Carolina as a place to live. I highly recommend you look at Cypress Landing in your search for your perfect spot to put down roots."

"The friendliest and most helpful people I have ever known. There is always an activity or club in which to participate, a great golf Audubon certified course, a beautiful, first class marina, fitness center, pools and proximity to a university and first rate medical facilities. What more would one need to be happy?"

"BEAUTIFUL, FRIENDLY, ACTIVE"

"The people, primarily. Our HOA is run by volunteers, so our HOA dues are much lower than HOA's run by an outside management firm. Amenities included in dues are storage lots, four HarTrue tennis courts, fitness center, nature trails, and two community pools. We have numerous social committees of varying interests. Our golf course membership fees are very reasonable and the course is playable year round. Being in the middle of the Atlantic we do not have prolonged spells of extreme cold or hot weather. It doesn't get much better. "
