2017 has been an exciting years at The Cliffs, an active adult lifestyle in the Carolinas comprised of seven exceptional luxury private golf communities positioned around the beautiful Lake Keowee and tucked into the Blue Ridge Mountains. January

In January they unveiled the new high-tech Wellness Center at The Cliffs at Mountain Park — helping members and residents stick to those New Year’s Resolutions with functional fitness programming and innovative equipment.

February

Another exciting moment for Mountain Park, their newest community’s rustic, relaxed take on the traditional golf clubhouse — The Cabin — won the prestigious Golden Fork Award from Golf Inc. magazine.

March

The Grain recognized The Cliffs as “the Carolinas’ best,” lauding our stellar setting, four-season climate and unparalleled collection of amenities.

April

Hot off the heels of the 2017 Clemson Invitational, they were delighted to announce that The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, in partnership with the Clemson Men’s Golf team, was selected to host the NCAA Men’s Division I Golf Regional Championship May 18-20, 2020.

May

In May, Cliffs members joined 17-time Tour de France finisher (and The Cliffs’ Director of Cycling) George Hincapie for the first ‘Ride with George’ of the year — a charming, yet challenging ride through beautiful Travelers Rest.

June

The Cliffs at Mountain Park, Keowee Vineyards and Keowee Falls courses were recognized among the ‘Best in State’ for South Carolina by Golf Digest, as well as The Cliffs at Walnut Cove in North Carolina.

July

World champion wakeboarder Abby Delgoffe joined them this summer for two exhilarating weekends on the water, including small group clinics, private lessons and astonishing demos.

August

The Cliffs LPGA Ambassador Austin Ernst competed in the 2017 Solheim Cup in Des Moines, Iowa and helped Team USA bring home the Cup!

September

The Cliffs Valley golf course made its debut in 1995 and has been a member favorite ever since. The first American course designed by renowned golf broadcaster Ben Wright, The Cliffs Valley underwent a 15-week, half-million dollar renovation and reopened in September.

October

Walnut Cove’s newest neighborhood is Creekside Farm, a new release of 18 exclusive homesites overlooking a century-old, working 60-acre farm.

November

In November they announced the Golf Ridge Cottages, an exclusive enclave of homes perched atop a picturesque ridgeline at the Southernmost edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains where natural splendor meets effortless living.

December

For the sixth consecutive year, The Cliffs was recognized among the top residential courses in America by Golfweek magazine.
