May through September from 2pm to 6pm venders prepare fresh local cuisine made from organic fruits and vegetables. April through May, Port Royal Farmer’s Market where crisp apples and homemade jams showcase the best of the local farmers. On Saturdays, the market exhibits a collection of local artists along with delicious cheeses and 100% all naturally grown local fruit and vegetables; broccoli, squash, peppers, pumpkin and local shrimp, to name a few. 

A quick fifteen minute ride from Beaufort SC neighborhoods and Coosaw Point, the Pick Pocket Plantation Farmer’s Market is located at the Historic Pick Pocket Plantation.The plantation dates back to the 19th century and holds a festive market on Tuesdays from 1pm to 4pm, and Saturdays 9am to 4pm. Visitors can watch apple butter and sugar cane in the making, while children enjoy an afternoon pony ride on the plantation.  

Every Friday from 1pm to 6pm, Main Street in Downtown Ridgeland is lit up by the Hardeeville Farmers & Artists Market. Booths display a collection of home goods and fresh produce accompanied by a small flea market. Located just west of one of the best places to live in coastal South Carolina, venders are able to rent a space for only $5. Find a hidden gem among the arts, crafts, and antiques on display, or treat yourself to freshly baked goods. 

Treats are plentiful on the beautiful island of Hilton Head too. South Carolina residents have the Hilton Head Island’s Saturday Farmer’s Market. Just under fifty minutes from Coosaw Point, the Farmer’s Market of Hilton Head Island offers freshly baked pastries, breads and more!
