At The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, we’ve carved out 20 miles of shoreline that belong exclusively to our residents, and lakeside living is simply a way of life. Just outside the door are 2,500 acres of protected forests, hundreds more waterfalls and fields of rare Oconee Bells — all accessible without venturing beyond the gates.

Falls Creek runs through the heart of Keowee Falls, spilling dramatically into sparkling Lake Keowee. It’s the largest waterfall on the lake and a destination for boaters and hikers who converge on this natural wonder year-round.

" The residents come from all over the country and very friendly. We compare it to freshman year in college- everyone is looking to make new friends! There are so many activities and the community is very fitness oriented. 7 Golf courses, boating, hiking, tennis, cycling, equestrian, yoga, free fitness classes of every description. For those who prefer less active pursuits there is bridge, mahjong, canasta, book clubs, bible study, car club, volunteering, theater, needle work/knitting club, gardening club, choir and a band for singers, etc... something for everyone. Asheville and Greenville provide theater, minor league baseball, ice hockey, music, and fine dining. A group of 18 ladies recently traveled to Chicago for shopping, sight seeing and theater for a wider experience. Previous trips to New York, Atlanta and Charlotte have been big hits as well. Who knows where we will go next year, Nashville, Seattle??"
