"It has a very desirable blend of active retirees and young families. It has the beach two miles away as well as the antebellum mansions of old Wilmington along the Cape Fear River. Some of the best restaurants in the state flourish here. The whole community is very fitness minded with hiking and biking trails scattered throughout the Landfall community along with first class tennis, fitness and golf. The 24 hour gated approach gives one a high level of security and peace. One never seems to be impressed when we talk with property owners who were in a position to settle anywhere in the world and they chose Landfall. It's a true paradise. "

"It's 30 years old and full, so it has all the amenities we expect and no subsidized costs. Also, the "redevelopment" lifts the values."
